Winter Mood

February is, naturally, a month of love and good vibes. We have Valentine’s Day, my husband’s birthday and tulips are finally in season after some long, cold months of nothing but grey skies and beige soups (although soup mode is indeed my favorite mode). We’re dreaming of an endless summer, but also not quite ready to put away our incredible coats, beanies and scarves. I’m finding myself living in the middle of it all; embracing the homebody temperatures and influx of citrus, but longing for a super fresh breeze at an outdoor bistro table with a really great bottle of wine.

Here are some things I’m loving, coveting, and feeling inspired by this month. Hope they spark something for you, too <3

From top to bottom:

  • No notes, just vibes. She is my everything. Gramparents via Highsnobiety

  • We’re traveling to Japan in March, so I’m currently researching all of the best places to eat, drink and shop for vintage clothes in Tokyo & Osaka.

  • Dreaming of desserts always, and can’t wait to stop by the adorable cake shop, From Lucie, on my next trip to New York this spring. Ash Bean via Domino

  • Currently burning the ‘Mono No Aware’ candle from Mar Mar (which translates ‘most simply as a sensitivity to ephemera, bittersweetness, or the happiness that something has happened mixed with the sadness that it’s no longer happening’).

  • Manifesting our future bathroom remodel and considering getting outside of my comfort zone with some wallpaper, like this new, made-to-order sprig silhouette print by Phillip Jeffries.

  • A sucker for some cute restaurant branding, especially if it involves my favorite color and a solid illustration. via Projects Studio

  • This coat needs no introduction (and it’s on sale).

  • Everyone needs a good set of playing cards for fireside nights. Love these Eames designs, available in a few variations.
